Much like Creative Mornings and Pecha Kucha, Refresh Charleston is a mini series of events designed for the Lowcountry's creative community to talk, meet-up, and network and next Tuesday's talk features Columbia, S.C. artist and City Paper contributing illustrator, Maria Fabrizio.

According to Refresh, Fabrizio will talk about the "technical side, the fun side, and the struggle to maintain her blog, Wordless News, during this time of insanity in America." Fabrizio is also a recently published author of the book, Cultivating Creativity: Daily Rituals for Visual Inspiration, and the daily illustrator for her site wordlessnews.com.

Check out some of Fabrizio's City Paper cover illustrations below and learn more about her on her website, mariafabrizio.com.

Fabrizio's Refresh Charleston appearance will be on Tues. June 20 at Blue Ion. Admission is $8 and includes the cost of refreshments. Buy tickets at refreshcharleston.com.
