If you've never been on Design Sponge, a website dedicated to, well, design, then you're missing out. The site features snapshots of artful people's homes, DIY projects, and guides for stuff like "How to Shop for Fabric on Etsy" and "Bulb Planting 101." You get the idea. And yesterday local artist, founder of Sisal Creative, and taxidermist Becca Barnet was featured on Design Sponge, for the "museum-like" displays in her Charleston home.

Barnet's house, a 1947 Hampton Park bungalow, features elements like paneling on the ceiling, an open floor plan, and colorful bursts of rugs and art. Barnet tells Design Sponge, "What I love most about my house is the natural light and the colors that the light reveals."
