Have you gotten your Charleston Comedy Fest tickets yet?

Loads-a-laughs

The Charleston Comedy Festival is almost here and we can't stop laughing. Really, it's our job. We've researched and talked to some of this year's headliners and they're knee-slappin', finger-lickin' ... well, don't take our word for it: see for yourself.

(But first, get your tickets here.)

Start your headliner tour with Matt Jones a.k.a. Badger from Breaking Bad who will spit improv in partnership with Dad's Garage in Atlanta. Bridget Everett performs Fri. Jan. 22 at Sottile Theatre — and she's a loud and proud woman whose raunchy song and dance routines will have you blushing, crying, and maybe even covering your eyes. Todd Barry, best known as the bongo-playing "Third Concord" on Flight of the Concords, takes the Sottile stage on Sat. Jan. 23 with his version of deadpan comedy. The night gets even groovier with performances by winners of last year's Charleston Stand-Up Comedy Competition — Jeremy McLellan, Deshawn Mason, and Mike Goodwin. Check out T.J. Miller on Saturday, too, where you can look forward to his absurdist observational stand-up. Miller's been on shows like The League, Silicon Valley, and Happy Endings, and we trust that the latter is how your Saturday night will end. The comedy fest isn't just visiting comedic hotshots, though. You can look forward to a whole lotta funny from local acts and smaller groups from around the country. Check out the full schedule here.
