State arts budget to be decided ... well, some time

Conference committee continues talks today

Boy, do the wheels of government turn slowly. The state Budget Conference Committee was supposed to finish its deliberations on the budget on Friday, June 14, but they didn't. They're expected to make a final decision today, with the General Assembly meeting for a special session June 18-20. You can read more about the status on the S.C. Arts Commission's home page.
