The name of this event alone is enough to make some people scramble for tickets. And it’s as delectable and indulgent as it sounds. This annual affair, benefitting Communities in Schools, features sweet stuff from 82 Queen, Baked, Cypress, Fulton Five, Kaminsky’s, Rue de Jean, Sugar, the Sanctuary, and many more local eateries. There will also be “real” food if you get sugar overload, as well as a live and silent auction featuring goodies like a football autographed by the Carolina Panthers, golf carts, jewelry, a beach house rental, spa packages, and the requisite heart-breakingly adorable puppy. We’re told the live auction can get pretty lively. “Get enough chocolate martinis in some people and things get interesting,” says organizer Sara Dwyer. Communities in Schools is a nonprofit organization that encourages kids to stay in school by connecting community resources — like mentoring and after-school programs — with the needs of students, their families, and schools. We recommend you hit the gym extra hard for the next few days, because you don’t want to be worried about calories at this event. Just make sure you don’t get chocolate all over your face when you’re pigging out. —EJ Sat., Jan. 31, 7 p.m. $85, (843) 740-6793, Citadel Holliday Alumni House, 69 Hagood Ave.
