It was really cold last night and Lance Hall was way off the beaten path, but the creative ladies and muscial man of I Eat Pandas nearly packed the house with their improvisational musicals.

Glennis McMurray and Eliza Skinner pull a suggestion from the crowd (last night's was zucchini) and then create three short musicals that find their way back to that suggestion.

Friday's show was terrific. McMurry and Skinner have been working together for a while and it shows. Their timing was perfect and they play off of each other so well.

Hillarious lines on Friday included: "You're a spaceman!" "No, I'm just a man ... from space." And "That costume is gay." "It is not! My mom made it." "Your mom is gay. "She is not! She just has a very good friend in Pam."

The best part of the night was when two starcrossed lovers see each other's dirty parts for the first time. Lots of rolling on the floor (not on stage - it was people laughing in the crowd).

But, you won't see those funny bits (pun intended) on Saturday - because they'll be starting from scratch and doing it all over again. Get there early. Last night's show nearly sold out and word of mouth just might leave you out in the cold ... way off the beaten path. -Greg Hambrick
