And the soaps are biodegradable, petroleum-free, made from plant-based ingredients, and never tested on animals, plus they're packaged in bottles that are both recyclable and made from recycled plastic. That's a triple win — good for the environment, animals, and humans.
All proceeds go toward the construction of homes for others both in the community and around the world. Handyman can be purchased at the five local ReStores around town (Mt. Pleasant, Johns Island, Summerville, Goose Creek, and downtown) or online at handymansoaps.com
. Each bottle costs $4.
Anyone that's volunteered with Habitat for Humanity knows your hands get a little dirty when putting up houses. So it just makes sense that East Cooper Habitat for Humanity ReStore program decided to get in on the soap business. The new line of all-natural soaps is appropriately named Handyman and comes in four different scents: honeysuckle, lavender, cut-wood, and unscented.
