Husband and wife duo, Eric and Kha Stewart, have always known that they wanted to own a business. The Stewarts opened up their first business, a Plato’s Closet, in Rock Hill, S.C. Now they have expanded their locations and opened a second Plato’s Closet in North Charleston, which opened this morning. “We had a line all the way down to our neighbors store at Party City. It’s a pretty fantastic turn out,” Kha said of the grand opening. “

Plato’s Closet is a retail chain that specializes in buying and selling gently-used, brand-name clothing and accessories for teens and 20-year-olds. “It’s a great service we provide for teenagers to come in and get cash for the clothes they provide,” Kha said. In preparation, Eric and Kha spent eight weeks buying clothes from the community before they opened their doors. Shop what they found Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sun. 12-6 p.m. Plato’s Closet is located at 7800 Rivers Ave., Ste. 1290. For more information, call (843) 277-2284 or visit
