If you want to meet wildlife conservationist and artist, Guy Harvey, here’s your chance. Harvey will be at the newest Palmetto Moon Store located in Mt. Pleasant on Sat. Oct. 5. Harvey, a self-taught artist, creates colored marine life prints for clothes, cell phone cases, doormats, and art.
“The grand opening is going to be really awesome. It’s two hours long, and Guy will be there to meet with his fans, take pictures, and talk to them,” says Emily Trogdon, public relations director of Momentum Marketing. If you’re planning to attend the opening, you’re encouraged to bring your Guy Harvey apparel for him to sign.
In addition to Guy Harvey swag, Palmetto Moon carries collegiate wear, Ray Bans, Tervis cups, and gifts for the South Carolina tourist or enthusiast. Palmetto Moon reopened in a new location in Mount P.’s Towne Center and with more space, they now have more room for apparel and a larger customer service department.
Palmetto Moon and Guy Harvey will also team up to support local conservation in Charleston. “From Sat. Sept. 28-Sat. Oct. 5, Guy Harvey and Palmetto Moon will donate $2 from every Guy item sold to the South Carolina Aquarium. One of Guy’s iniatives is supporting local conservation efforts,” says Trogdon. Guy will be at Palmetto’s Moons newest location from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. For more info, visit the Palmetto Moon website
