Novel. pops up permanently

Former pop-up shop has a solid new location

It’s been much, much too long since the last time we got to experience Novel. No, not a book, but the collaborative pop-up shop that sprung up a few times on King Street, the last being in March 2010. They’re finally back, this time at 341 King St., Suite B, above Cynthia Rowley.

A few things have changed though. Marysia SWIM is out, which is no big surprise since designer Marysia Reeves recently relocated to New York City. Still, you’ll find curated vintage items from Library: Archives of Fashion, jewelry from Balboa and Jane Pope, two lines designed by Jane Pope Cooper, and hand-painted artwork and more from bluechickadee (a.k.a. Way Way Allen).

And unlike past Novels, this one is permanent. There’s no need to rush this time, except to get some cute stuff.

The store is hosting a grand opening on Thurs. June 9 from 5-9 p.m.
