Posted by Caroline Eubanks on Tue, Oct 6, 2009 at 4:00 AM

Whispers on Wentworth salon and bridal boutique celebrates 30 years in business on Oct. 9 with a grand re-opening. The salon recently started offering massage, facials, and full body waxing. The salon’s owner Lynn Huneycutt has won City Paper's Best of Charleston award for Best Hairstylist for the past five years. The grand re-opening will begin at 5 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Mayor Joe Riley and will be followed by a champagne reception. Complimentary chair massages, makeup lessons, special giveaways, door prizes, and hors d’oeuvres are on the menu for the day. The event is free, but a percentage of donations will go to the Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer awareness.
