Vintage and estate jewelry sale at S.C. Thrift & Resale

Frugalistas will find everything for less than $18

We’re loving the vintage/frugalista craze that’s sweeping the city — our wallets love it, too. Thursday night is the opening reception for the Center for Women/S.C. Thrift and Resale’s second Bling Bling Jewelry Event, which runs through Tues. Sept. 22. The sale features over 1,500 pieces of vintage and estate jewelry — and nothing is priced over $17.99. You can check out the pieces, and the thrift store’s other great offerings, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sept. 18-22, but if you head over tonight from 6-8 p.m., you’ll enjoy a preview reception, featuring light refreshments. Besides getting a first look at the jewelry, you can also check out the Couture Clothing and Accessories Collection from Miami along with designer clothing, shoes, and bags from the likes of Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Versace, and more.
