Charleston's sadly lacking in options for the vintage clothing lover, but it seems like some people are beginning to recognize the hole in our shopping community. We've got a few options like Culture Vultures and Estella Vitae, and now we can add Library: Archives of Fashion to the list. Owner Lauren Lail has traveled to vintage shows and shops across the country and beyond to create her extensive collection of classic clothing and accessories. She doesn't have a storefront just yet, but on Thursday, you can be one of the first to check out her collection from her home studio at 105-B Rutledge Ave. The exclusive launch party is from 4-9 p.m. You're sure to find plenty of unique pieces for the summer. Let's face it. Times are hard on our cute little wallets, and usually the first things to go are the awesome shopping adventures of the past. But don't fret, that's why we're here to help you find some great steals. April 1-11, with any purchase made at Shoe Carnival, you, my darling frugalista, will receive a "BOGO When You Want 2" card. This card is redeemable until Jan. 19, 2010, which means there is no excuse to skip out on this great deal. The nearest location is at 1812 Sam Rittenberg Blvd.—Reina Gascon-Lopez
