Word nerd is irritated and irate

Posted on Friday, September 3

I really hate and despise when people use multiple or various adjectives and words for the same or similar words. Such as: I'm so mad and angry! This is so tasty and delicious! You are so jealous and envious! You are stupid and idiotic.

-adjective nazi

This is a joke! "hate & despise" is exactly what the writer is claiming to complain about.

I really hate and despise when people have nothing better to do than berate others for using multiple or various adjectives and words for the same or similar words. Such as: I'm so mad and angry when people use double negatives!

You are so jealous and envious that others have a life that it's (proper use of a contraction here) rediculous!

You are stupid and idiotic if all you have to do during your day is to correct those that leave their participles dangling.

P.S. - Your missing the meat of the story and are worrying about the gristle. WHY?

G proves the point... and drives it HOME!!! Dear Adjective Nazi, can we have another lesson titled, "Please Leave Your Opinion in Your Pie Hole Unless You Can Spell"? Really, these tedious and annoying little errors and imperfections distract from "the meat of the story" (in other words, it's hard and difficult to enjoy a piece of meat or food when you have to gnaw around the gristle).

PS: "P.S.- Your [LACK of proper and correct contraction] missing the meat of the story and are worrying about the gristle."

Now THIS is tasty banter!
