Zoinks! It's a blackened shrimp mystery!

Posted on Wednesday, June 9

Does anyone know what the billboard on I26 East is advertising? It has 2 shrimp with what looks like a black smear beneath them with no words. I saw another one on I95 South this weekend too and it's about to drive me crazy.
Thanks for the help!

I've been wondering the same thing. I see it on my way to home from work everyday :/

I'm guessing it's some sort of restaurant advert, but then I start thinking about the BP oil spill and that maybe it's a social message, lol.

Curious as well.

Our waters are unaffected and the Shrimp industry is in the middle of its heyday based on the shortage of shrimp, then again the local shrimpers are taking advantage of the situtation and are price gouging. Which is bad because the Asian markets are just importing more and getting bigger business...

It is a subtle NBPP billboard message -- Eat more crackers with your shrimp.
