Shouting sorority sisters should shut up

Posted on Tuesday, September 1

I am writing in reference to 3 sorority girls I encountered Monday at CofC who made a clear point to inform us that their "raspy voices" were due to Rush Weekend Blowout. Example: "So sorry, I lost my voice, we had Rush this weekend. Ohmigod, we had to chant & yell for like three days".
Here I am faced with a dilemma. If your voice is SOO hoarse why don't you just stop talking? Please. The rest us could care less that you spent your weekend "yelling, chanting, and singing" at poor unsuspecting freshmen girls who so desperately need your approval they have to pay for their friends.
My advice, take a Halls and shut up. Thanks.

Well sheesh Judge Judy - you certainly are above them! How dare these young girls not be as informed, perfect or as cool as you are! Chanting and yelling and rushing a sorority? You already seem to have the confidence, leadership, and group skills. How dare others not be on your level. You tell 'em!
