Zero George Café and Bar has given Charleston a vision of what a boutique hotel can offer locals and tourists alike. Perfect for a pre-dinner drink or a small bite after a show, the café offers a selection of cocktails, wine, and small plates in an upscale atmosphere. The craft cocktails highlight seasonal ingredients, like the Bespoke Manhattan made with smoked maple syrup in place of traditional bitters. The wine list spans many regions and varietals, with sparkling rosé and Cava too. Their menu of small plates is ever changing. Past offerings have included basil pesto chickpea hummus with benne seed crackers and seasonal salads like the shrimp panzanella or autumn frisee with roasted pumpkin seeds.
