Super Bowl Sunday is upon us and we’ve rounded up all the food and drink specials, giveaways, and parties for all you football fans. The list is long, but there’s something for everyone.
Caviar and Bananas has a pretty cool menu, with twists on classic items like sliders, wings, and chips (they're making 'em from beets).
Mad River is having a Super Bowl tailgate party with a wing eating contest starting at 4:30 p.m. Their drink specials will be $2.50 Budweiser products, $10 Budweiser buckets, $15 Bud Light draft tubes, $5 Jack Daniels, $5 Southern Comfort, and $5 Redbull and Vodka. They also have some great food deals like 25 cent wings, $4 nachos, and $5 All-American burgers with fries. During their raffle you’ll have the chance to win two tickets to Carolina’s 2011 season opener with a one night stay in Charlotte and a $100 tab at BlackFinn in Charlotte.
Charlie’s Grill will have a wing eating contest starting at 4 p.m. with food and drink specials, as well as, giveaways.
Loggerhead’s Beach Grill Big Game Party kicks off with Jamisun at 5 p.m. and continues with its Loggerhead Wing Bowl wing eating contest at 6 p.m. There will be a free half-time buffet along with $6 Bud Light pitchers and $2 domestic bottles all night.
Montreux’s in Summerville will have a wing eating contest with $25 going to the winner who eats the most wings in five minutes. Their drink specials will be $1 jello shots, $3 shot specials, $5 Bud Light pitchers, $1 Bud Light drafts, and $12 buckets. To complement those drinks they’re offering a $5 appetizer menu and $1 hot dogs. There will also be beer pong after the game and live music starting at 10 p.m.
Wild Wing Cafe has added seven new super-party platters for Super Bowl Sunday, but be sure to place your order by February 5 or you’ll have beer and football, but no wings. They will also be offering 20 oz. Miller Lite and Coors Light stadium cups for $3, an “eat-for-your-seat” pre-game, a wing eating contest with the chance to win a $50 tab, and a chance to win $200 with their “Playoff Picks 4 Dough.”
Foster’s Pub will have half price wings, $3 Sweet Water 420 draft, $3 Fat Tire draft, $10 buckets of domestics, and $4 Jager bombs.
Fiddlers Green Pub will have $2.25 Bud Light and $6 Bud Light pitchers all day Sunday for the big game. If you watch the game with them you can buy 10 wings and get 10 free. If you insist on watching the game at home you can get 50 wings for $35.
New Moon Pizzeria and Pub on Johns Island will have half-off pizza and wings with $2 domestics, $3 wells, and lots of shot specials. They will also have a progressive Pabst Blue Ribbon draft starting at 6 p.m. Every time there’s a score in the game the price goes up 25 cents.
Beer, wings, and football; what else do you need? But if oysters are more your style, Smoky Oak Taproom is hosting a free oyster roast during the game and a Jameson liquor party including a Jameson grill giveaway, Fris vodka specials, and an ice luge. Coast Black Beerd stout and Bulls Bay Oyster Stout will available for $4.
Halligan’s is having a pre-game oyster roast with drink specials and showing the UFC 126 fights.
Fiery Ron’s Home Team BBQ in West Ashley will host $10 all-you-can-eat oysters starting at 3 p.m., $19 beer pitchers and a full rib rack, half-off wings all day, a $5 Bloody Mary bar, and $4 Mimosa cocktails. Their location on Sullivan’s Island will have Pittsburgh specialties of pierogie appetizers and Primanti Bros’-style sandwiches.
The Recovery Room is having a Big Game Oyster Roast beginning at 4 p.m. and there’s a chance to win a Jameson charcoal grill.
Got a lot of people to feed on Super Bowl Sunday? Liberty Tap Room and Grill has $50 signature beer-braised-and-grilled baby back ribs, $50 beer-roasted-free-range chicken, $40 sesame-crusted ahi tuna platters, $35 jumbo wing platters, $12 one-pound beer-broiled shrimp, and $10 “Lots of Trio Dips.” Your orders must be placed by 2 p.m. and picked up by 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The Brick will have food and drink specials all day including $12 domestic buckets and $1 off all drafts. Their Super Bowl-inspired burgers of the week are the Pittsburgh Brick, a burger topped with coleslaw and fries, and the Green Bay Brick, a burger topped with a variety of cheeses.
Moe’s Tavern will have food and drink specials all day for the big game, including $15 buckets of Miller Lite and Coors Light, $2 Sessions, and $3 bourbons.
No need to cross the bridge out of Mt. Pleasant with Local's Bar game-time specials of $1 Pabst Blue Ribbon and $2 Bud Light, Miller Light, and Budweiser.
Watch the big game on the big screen for free at Cinebarre. Theater doors open 30 minutes before kickoff. They will have $8 Cineburger sliders and $7 beer flight, in which you choose any four beers from their draft menu.
