Put on something green and head out on the town to celebrate St. Patty’s Day on Thursday. The bars and pubs of Charleston have a ton of drink and food specials lined up just for you.
Wild Wing is going green with $2.50 green beer, and $4 Guinness and Irish Car Bombs. Sam Adams pints will be $3 through April 4. Irishfest in Mt. Pleasant is going on Saturday with Fowler’s Mustache, Lloyd Dobler Effect, and Villanova. The festivities continue on Thursday with the Dave Landeo Band playing at Wild Wing downtown, Plane Jane in Mt. Pleasant, and Soul Fish in North Charleston.
Red’s Ice House hosts its Sunset St. Pat’s Day Bash on Thursday, so be sure to wear your green.
Buffalo Wild Wings in Summerville will have $3 Irish car bombs and live music starting at 10 p.m. St. Patty’s night.
O’Malley’s will be flaunting its Irish heritage by partying all day on Thursday with live music by Ben Fagan and the Holy City Hooligans from 7 to 10 p.m. and Long Miles from 10 to close. They will also have Irish step dancers and fiddle players. Epic. Come by before the parade and get your fill from a full traditional Irish menu.
Rooftop is giving away the chance to win a free weekend in Savannah to the St. Patrick’s Day Riverwalk Festival at their St. Patrick’s Day party on March 17. They will have Guinness specials and traditional Irish fare.
There’s so much happening at the Daniels Island St. Patty’s Block Party hosted by Daniel Island Grille and Dublin Down that I can’t list it all. There will be tons of Guinness, green beer, Car Bombs, live Irish music, corned beef and hot pretzels, and more. As a little extra incentive the Jameson girls and the Red Bull girls will be hanging out.
Molly Darcy’s is opening at 10 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day with bagpipers and live music by O’Connor & Milne and DJ C-Nile. There will be Baileys and Bushmills giveaways starting at 5 p.m. and the Jameson girls will be there from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
O’Brion’s Pub and Grille will have the Guinness flowing and loads of live music for its two St. Patty’s Day parties this Saturday and next Thursday.
Montreux Bar and Grill in Summerville will have $1 jello shots, $1.50 Bud Light drafts, $3 Killians, 16 oz. green Bud Light and Guinness, $4 Jameson, and $5 Car Bombs. They will also have corned beef and cabbage as well as other Irish foods and live music by the Jamisun Group and Ellen Drive.
The Brick will open at noon on St. Patty’s Day with food and drink specials including $4 Guinness and $7.50 car bombs. They will have live music by Dan Clamp and DJ C-Nile rippin the turntable.
Opening at 11:30 a.m., Fiddler’s Green Pub will have bag pipes and giveaways along with live music by the Reckoning.
Big John’s Tavern is having a stout weekend celebration from St. Patty’s Day till that Saturday, the 19th. They will have $5 Irish car bombs, $4 Jameson and stout bottles and cans, $3 Shamrock shooters, $2 Guinness, and $1 green jello shots.
Night School and DJ Moo Moo will be performing at Johnson’s on St. Patty’s Day. They’ll be opening at noon with $5 Irish car bombs, $2 green beers, and $5 Red Bull shamrock.
Oasis Bar and Grill is hosting Genitorturers with Hanzel und Gretyl and Coffin Syrup, presented by Carpe Noctem on St. Patrick’s Day. Tickets are $15 in advance or $17 the day of the show. There will be $3 Bud Light draft and $1 jello shots and Fire Ball shooters.
Diamonds North will have a $100 Guinness chug contest and a $100 Irish car bomb chug contest, as well as Guinness and car bomb specials all night.
Fuji will have $3 well drinks and $2 green jello shots March 17 through the 19 in their effort to go green for St. Patty’s Day.
Smoky Oak Taproom dares to be different by having its St. Patty’s Fest on March 19. Out of their 15 breweries and over 20 beers, there has to be something for everyone. Keltic Ties, 54 Bicycles, and The Healing will all be performing and of course there will corned beef and cabbage.
Celebrate the Irish way on St. Patty’s Day with Bushmill’s Irish Whiskey and Bailey’s at Smokey Oak, O’Brion’s, Dunleavy’s, Dublin Down, Moe’s Downtown, The Griffon, and Madra Rua.
