This is a past event.
Already in its third year, WyldFest is an elaborate musical showcase designed to raise money for a handful of local friends facing serious health problems. “It’s two nights of music, caring, and fun,” says organizer Jaden Wylder. Evening two starts at 4 p.m. at Rendezvous in North Charleston with performances from Control Freak, Neverthaless, Chris Sullivan, Jamisun, On the Hunt, and The SoundDogs. Bizarro Burlesque, Lindsay Anderton (of Lucy Angel), and Miss Keesha will be on hand. The lingerie calendar, a kissing booth, guest celebrities, a bachelor date auction, pig roast, raffle, and a grand-prize drawing are part of the scene, too. Proceeds will benefit Reece Bullock, Dave Pugh, and Robin Lobosco — all of whom require major medical procedures. —T. Ballard Lesemann
