WTF Party

When: Thu., Dec. 3 2009
Price: $15/Charleston Waterkeeper members, $20/non-members

Clean water is certainly something worth toasting. Charleston Waterkeeper, a local nonprofit watchdog group that protects our waterways from pollution, celebrates their first year of existence with a fundraising party at Eye Level Art. Using light projections, an inflatable video dome, and a touch tank brimming with local marine life, Waterkeeper hopes to educate folks about waterway conservation in a fun, innovative way. D.C.-based DJ duo, Party on Marz, supplies the dance floor beats. New Belgium provides the brews to go along with the light hors d’oeuvres. All proceeds from the event go toward Charleston Waterkeeper and their Water the Future campaign. Fight for your right to party — and drink clean water. —Patrick McGinn
