The festival is entering its third season against the backdrop of Magnolia’s Romantic-style gardens, designed in the mid-1800s by the Rev. John Grimke Drayton. This year’s festival will offer Magnolia’s visitors a more diverse group of plants that can be added to a winter garden. The Charleston Artist Guild also is participating in the festival with workshops and a portrait competition. The festival’s schedule includes daily tours of the gardens. In addition to the tours, the festival will feature a lecture series on a variety of gardening topics.
