Yes, you've missed your chance to get a seat at the table for the Ultimate Critic's Dinner. The BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival just announced that the $200-a-plate dinner is sold out (waiting list has been started). But there's still time to get tickets to the festival ticket launch and benefit party on Sept. 2. And the ticket price is a much more affordable $35 per person, which will not only get you entry into a fabulous party but will also benefit the festival's 2011 signature charity, Lowcountry Local First.
The party is designed to show off the 2011 festival's special events. They'll have lots of food provided by plenty of favorites including Nate Whiting from Tristan, Kevin Johnson from REV Foods, John Ondo from Lana, and Sean Park of O-Ku. If you'd like to attend the event, which will be held at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina at Patriots Point, you must RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by Aug. 30.
