SEWE 2013 is here, so wildlife lovers will have plenty to do this weekend.

Prepare yourself for flying birds and wet pooches this weekend at the SEWE Birds of Prey Flight Demonstrations and Dock Dogs Competitions. This weekend also kicks off the Robinson Jeffers Association Conference at the Charleston County School of the Arts in North Charleston. The conference begins Friday with a poetry reading by Nikky Finney.

On Friday and Saturday get your comedy fix at Theatre 99’s Improv Jam and Improv Riot.

You can check out live music at the Coffeehouse Concert hosted at Gage Hall featuring Susan Conant, Hazel Ketchum, and Global Succotash, or at the Charleston Symphony Orchestra's All Brahms concert.

The Charleston Battery’s Carolina Cup Challenge is happening this weekend and matches will feature MLS teams like Chicago Fire, Houston Dynamo, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Put on your thinking cap and get informed at the Grow with the Flow Workshop and HIV/AIDS Forum, both happening this Saturday.
