WALK Art Gallery, known for featuring local artists’ work in vacant Upper King Street buildings, recently released a call for entries for a new exhibit entitled “Juxtapositions: artists respond to poets and poets respond to artists.” The exhibit, which will run March 5 through April 30, 2010, will feature haikus and artwork by creatives from throughout the state. WALK seeks to create a dialogue between these artists and poets and revitalize empty storefronts through art exhibits. Submissions can be entered at through Nov. 10.
