Workshop will begin with the work of notable documentary photographers in order to further understand what makes a documentary photograph "successful." Participants will then have the opportunity to improve their own photography skills by applying this new information while documenting the happenings occurring on a downtown street focusing on natural lighting and composition. Skills acquired throughout the course will sharpen photographers' ability to capture all subjects in a more effective manner.
