Also referred to as White Point Gardens, the tree-lined Battery is a park in the southernmost point of Charleston, where the Cooper and Ashley Rivers meet at the harbor. Cannons, statues, benches, and monuments … a great view of Fort Sumter, Castle Pinckney, and the Sullivans Island lighthouse … a great spot in the old city.
