The big, long menu at Mustard Seed — along with the inventive, ever-changing specials — found a loyal following long ago when Sal Parco's first restaurant was located in a strip mall in Mt. Pleasant. As the Mustard Seed expanded into other areas of town, it's always seemed a perfect spot for ladies-who-lunch with its focus on creative salads, pasta dishes, and light entrées. Mustard Seed remains the classic example of what a restaurateur can do when you keep the focus on serving good food. —Stephanie Barna, Dish (Summer 2009)

It's wonderfully consistent no matter which location we visit.
A true favorite of many locals who love food.
My husband and I can have two entrees with a glass of wine each and split a dessert for about $35.00!!!

The Mustard Seed on Maybank is the best of the three. I've had amazing meals at the Maybank location and blah meals at the Summerville location. Mount Pleasant is between the other two.
I recommend the Maybank location to out-of-towners I’ve met at the Spoleto festival.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I have been going to this place for 5 straight years and in all that time, I have never had anything other than top-notch service, heaping portions of food so good and so fresh tasting, that I'll eat well past my point of satiety. The service has always been impeccable - friendly, relaxed, even in the midst of the lunch rush. The PRICES are out of this world and are probably what keeps me coming back time and time again. I can eat lunch there for not much more than what one would pay at a fast food window and I leave feeling happy and healthy (if I didn't over-eat). I highly recommend this establishment. In the winter, there's not much better than a bowl of the hot Seafood Risotto. But I don't have a favorite dish. Everything on the damn menu is my "favorite."

Great place. I get something different everything I go because there are so many good things and I trust anything they serve, rather than just sticking to one entree I know is good!

The one in Summerville is just as good too. Great food and prices!
