The Village Playhouse hosts a Broadway blast from the past this fall with their production of The Marvelous Wonderettes. The musical comedy follows four high school girls in the 1950s who tell their stories through classic bubble-gum pop songs like “Lollipop,” “Stupid Cupid,” “Lipstick on Your Collar,” and “It’s in His Kiss.” Directed by Keely Enright, this local production stars Lara Allred, Caroline Boegle, Jenna Brinson, and City Paper’s “One to Watch,” Amber Mann.  —Erica Jackson
