Country station 96.9 The Wolf and Budweiser present a free showcase with sets from the Dirt Drifters and Casey James. Nashville’s Dirt Drifters are on the road behind a new album titled This is My Blood (Warner Bros.), featuring the single “Something Better.” Produced by engineer Justin Niebank (Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban), the album features 10 originals co-written by the five bandmates — Matt Fleener (lead vocals/guitar), Ryan Fleener (vocals/guitar), Jeff Middleton (vocals/guitar), Jeremy Little (bass), and Nick Diamond (drums). The album also features a guest appearance by Willie Nelson on the track “I’ll Shut Up Now.” Fleener says, “Everything on the record is our life. Not only are we playing all the music on the album and writing the songs, we’ve lived them and are ready to put our stories out there.” 19 Recordings/BNA Records artist Casey James, a Texas native and a third-place finalist in Season 9 of American Idol, shares the stage in support of his single, “Let’s Don’t Call It a Night.” Passes are available through the station. Doors open at 7 p.m.
