The City Paper Music Awards Show

The City Paper’s annual Music Issue shines the spotlight on a cross section of standout Lowcountry acts with the City Paper Music Awards. The CPMAs are designed to celebrate some of the movers and shakers in the scene with a roundup of the most active and accomplished musicians, bands, and recordings of the year. Winners in 21 categories will receive awards created by artist John Pundt. Old You, Sarah Cole and the Hawkes, Elise Testone and the Freeloaders, Dangermuffin, and Charlton Singleton and Friends will perform on stage. The awards show runs from 7-9:30 p.m. Jonathan Tyler and Northern Lights and the Happen-Ins for a late-evening show that starts at 10 p.m. CPMAs attendees can stay late-night for a $7 ticket.
