As the first week of fall rolls into town next week, the S.C. Aquarium and the Fat Hen have joined together to throw a party in its honor. The two have planned a delightful evening of food, wine, and sustainable seafood education for a lucky number of patrons at the Johns Island restaurant. While it’s not the typical dinner conversation, biologist Megan Westmeyer shares facts and tips on sustainability, seafood seasonality, and fisheries along the Carolina coast. All the while diners will enjoy Southern and French inspired foods prepared by Chef/Owner Fred Neuville like sautéed oysters, grilled wreckfish, and a decadent chocolate pâté with raspberries and creme for dessert. Space is limited and reservations are required.
