Kit Loney has been teaching art at Ft. Johnson Middle School for over ten years. She began writing poetry in 2005, and since has won first prizes in the Poetry Society of SC’s competitions, and been published in the 2007 and 2008 Kakalak Anthology of Carolina Poets. She reads locally on a regular basis.
