You've seen her before, but not like this. Back during her days at the College of Charleston, Kaytlin Bailey was performing in plays as an actress, not grinding out the guffaws as a comic. So consider this her Charleston comedy debut. And who in Charleston would miss a lady's debut?
She's bringing her awesome friends. Also performing is Erin Judge of Comedy Central's Live at Gotham. She recently betrayed her Twilight ignorance in a classic New York Times Magazine interview: "Something about an apple? The titles are mostly about fruit. ... Oh, it's that pale kid." They're joined by Abbi Crutchfield (Huffington Post Comedy says she's one of the 18 funny women you should follow on Twitter) and Carrie Gravenson, winner of the 2009 New York Underground Comedy Festival's Emerging Talent Competition.
Four girls living out their childhood dream. Hey, there's no shortage of superstars with rocket-powered tour buses on the streets during Spoleto, but these are four phenomenally talented comics early in their careers, so they are hungry and eager to wow us. This is Kickstarter-fueled livin'-the-dream, life-on-the-road, crashing-on-the-couch raw energy, folks. Don't miss it.
