Here’s Chris Gould’s advice for an optimal Star Wars Day (you know, May 4, a.k.a. May the Fourth be with you) experience. Go to Captain’s Comics or Jimbo’s Rock Lounge. Pick up a flyer. Take that flyer to Hokus Pokus. Get 15 percent off a Star Wars costume. Wear that costume to Jimbo’s on Friday. Find yourself a droid and dance to As If, Cosmic Ash, or DJ JeffET. Take a turn in Johnny Young’s photobooth. And, maybe, win the costume contest. But that one’s optional. “I love Star Wars, I love theme parties, and I love costumes,” Gould, an organizer of the event, says. “It’s a great excuse for all of that and it’s halfway to Halloween.” Just don’t go over to the dark side.
