It’s another one of those beer weeks in town. Four beer dinners will take place over the next week, and we have to pick just one to highlight.
So we asked T. Ballard Lesemann, our resident beer expert, what dinner he would choose, and he said Ted’s. A pioneer of beer dinners in town, Ted’s will highlight the brews of Southern Tier Brewery of Lake Wood, N.Y., a brand that hasn’t gotten much attention in town before.
For this dinner, Chef Eva Keilty will be pairing the light Raspberry Wheat Beer with salad, a limited-release Imperial Gemini (strong, unfiltered blended ale) with curried pork, the dark and hoppy Iniquity Imperial Black Ale with Cuban-style beef, and rich and roasty Jah*va Imperial Coffee Stout with chocolate-coconut rice pudding. Reservations are required, but the dinners at Ted are worth making plans for.
