Shopping with Friends Cocktail Party

As we all know, the holiday season is about giving. And while you’re in the process of giving gifts to your friends and family, you can also give to Lowcountry AIDS Services. Their annual Shopping with Friends event features more than 100 local retailers and restaurants (from Lori Wyatt Vintage to J. Crew to Halls Chophouse) that will give 10 percent of every dollar you spend to the nonprofit organization.

LAS is also hosting a couple of special events to open the effort. On Friday, Biton hosts a Cocktail Party and Fashion Show. Then on Saturday, they’ll have a Kick-Off Brunch to introduce the retailers, with a live auction, a Vintage Village, and, of course, Mimosas and Bloody Marys (because it wouldn’t be a brunch without those). —Susan Cohen
