Santo Bruno is a sort of renaissance man in the art world. From the mid ’60s to the early ’90s, he created and exhibited his artwork internationally. In 1990, he developed Santo Bruno Fine Art in New York City, a private business specializing in buying, selling, and restoring fine works of art, and for over a decade, he has developed a private collection of art spanning the 15th century to the present while maintaining a low profile operating a small gallery at 65th and Madison Avenue. But if you want to see his own art, State Street Real Estate Group is hosting an exhibit featuring Bruno’s work. The exhibit highlights a selection of earlier and current works, including a famous earlier work called “Spinner,” which he created in 1991. Bruno has worked in two- and three-dimensional media while sharing his talents with the world; his art is abstract and is known for its simplicity and inventiveness.
