There’s something appropriate about a rock band called Saliva performing at an adult club — a naughty venue by nature where patrons tend to drool in excitement. Named for the watery substance produced in the mouths of humans and most other animals, Memphis-based rock band Saliva — led by singer Josie Scott — returns to town behind a new album titled Blood Stained Love Story. Their lead-off single “King of the Stereo” is definitely heavier and meaner than the band’s previous stuff. This concert is part of Thee Southern Belle’s 2010 music series.
