Rosebank Farms Produce Stand (open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., seven days a week) is a popular stop for Kiawah residents and visitors. Among the amazing bargains on vegetables are green peppers and cukes, and the stand has everything from shrimp, farm eggs, and Clemson blue cheese to sweetgrass baskets, local artists’ paintings, and the occasional old-time string band. The vegetables are supplied from Louise Bennett and Sidi Limehouse’s Rosebank Farm, and the produce stand acts as one pick-up spot for their CSA. Stop by and you’ll meet Louise, a retired schoolteacher, who tends the seeds and grows the flowers, and writes a bright CSA letter with recipes and farm stories you’ll want to save in a journal.
