Veteran Charleston groove-rock band Sol Driven Train will perform this Saturday with Fowler’s Mustache during the first-ever Rockers 4 Knockers concert at the Charleston Visitor Center Bus Shed (375 Meeting St.). Sol Driven Train will surely play new tracks from their acclaimed Watermelon EP, which was released in August. Judging by some of their performances this year, like when they played TLC’s “Waterfalls” dressed in drag, they might have a trick or two up their sleeves. Fowler’s Mustache, a young East Cooper-bred band, will kick off the night with some jams and harmonic ballads. Singer Matt Stanley says the Bush Shed was packed last time they played this benefit, and that he hopes they’ll have an even better turnout for the great cause. “We’re not a touring band, so making money isn’t a huge object for us,” he says. “Our focus is on giving back, making albums, and staying creative.” Proceeds from the concert benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Hospitality Heroes, and the Integrative Cancer Center.
