This lecture will focus on cultural property lawyer and art historian Dr. Frank Lord’s involvement with the recent restitution of artwork from the collection of Jacques Goudstikker. In 1940, Goudstikker, a Jewish art dealer, fled the Netherlands during the Nazi invasion, leaving behind over 1,200 artworks that were seized by the Nazi forces.
