Growing up, we lived for Boy Meets World, Family Matters, Full House, Step by Step, and all the other TGIF shows. While our whole Friday goal these days may not be to stay awake for some family programming, our sentiments about Fridays remain the same. And in Charleston, there’s always a plethora of activities to entertain us, but one of our faves is Party at the Point, where you can get your groove on to some good tunes. This week roots/rock band Sol Driven Train take the stage, along with jam rock band Fowler’s Mustache. As always, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and more food will be available, along with drinks galore. You’ll have to buy drink and food tickets — but if you don’t use them this week, you can use them at future events. Party at the Point’s Paul Smith says, “We’re adding more bars and bartenders to the shows. We want people to enjoy the show, not stand in line.” Less line-waiting and more bars, that’s something that’ll make us say TGIF fo’ sho.
