Off the Grid kicks off in November 

An 'acoustic hootenanny' at the CCPL

The library's gettin' rowdy. Media Services department head Kevin Crothers and the Charleston County Public Library at 68 Calhoun Street introduce a new monthly acoustic concert series next week. On Sat. Nov. 7, from 2-5 p.m., the series Off the Grid will feature local singer-songwriter Chuck Taylor, the bluesy Peter Ledbetter, and Nashville-based songwriter Sabrina.

Shows are free, and they will continue one Saturday per month from 2-5 p.m. at the main library location downtown. Upcoming events include performances by Becca & Daniel, The Mac Leaphart Band, and The Explorers Club. All concerts are free and will be archived on CCPL's website at www.ccpl.org/media.
