Ring in the New Year with European flair at Barsa’s Noche Vieja Spanish Masquerade. The event, which also marks Barsa’s one-year anniversary, will highlight the masquerade theme to honor their Spanish-style tapas cuisine. Whiskey Diablo will provide live music, and there will be burlesque dancing from the ladies of Carnivalesque. Babe Rouge will set up a photobooth, so be sure to dress to impress with your most fashionable masquerade attire. There will also be a complimentary champagne toast when the clock strikes midnight, and the kitchen will remain open until 1 a.m. to cure any late-night munchies. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own masks, but some will be provided for any lazy partygoers. “There will be a little bit of that Mardi Gras, festive feel,” says event organizer Lisa Shimko. Barsa has free parking, and you can save five bucks on the price of admission if you purchase your tickets in advance at either Barsa or Lana.
