This fall, PURE Theatre takes on Geoffrey Nauffts’ Next Fall. The play, which premiered off-Broadway in 2009, follows Adam and Luke, a gay couple struggling with some major differences — Southerner Luke is a hardcore Christian, while Adam is an older atheist. Yet somehow they manage to make things work until Luke is involved in a serious accident. The play alternates between scenes in the hospital waiting room and flashbacks from the couple’s five-year relationship. Sharon Graci will direct.
