New Trinity Baroque

Five concerts from a leading period instrument group making its Piccolo debut

What is it? Five concerts from a leading period instrument group making its Piccolo debut.

Why see it? Over the past 25 years, New Trinity Baroque has become a force to be reckoned with in the world of period performance, recreating as near as possible not only the sounds that composers such as Bach and Vivaldi would have heard, but also the techniques and instruments used to get those sounds. The five concerts focus on a different composer each and the related music of the time.

Who should go? Any lover of the music of Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Mozart, or Purcell should not have to be told twice that this will be a special occasion. Those interested in period performance practices will find in New Trinity Baroque a superlative example of this rarefied art. (Robert Bondurant)
