Before you dye your hair an even darker shade of black to reflect your depressing teenaged angst, emo kids of Charleston, here’s something to cheer you up a bit. New Found Glory is set to perform at the Music Farm as part of their 42-date tour celebrating the release of their self-titled 10th anniversary album — a follow-up to last year’s acclaimed Not Without a Fight collection. The band could be considered one of the first contemporary acts to introduce the emo genre into the mainstream. They revisit what started as a journey to ultra stardom. They’re bringing along their love for playing live shows, heavy guitar riffs, mean power chords, and melodic and expressive lyrics. The set list features all 19 songs from the album’s playlist, so you’ll be able to mosh it up to the familiar tunes of your youth as well as jam to some slightly newer ones. Joining New Found Glory on this journey will be Saves the Day, Hellogoodbye, and Fireworks. —Christina Janke
