Middleton Place invites local residents to explore and expand an interest in American and African American history, agriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture and plantation life at the National Historic Landmark. A special Volunteer Orientation will be held on Monday, May 11, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Tours of the Gardens, House Museum and Plantation Stableyards will acquaint the day’s participants with all the different areas where volunteers are utilized.
