Despite having transformed multiple times, Med Bistro still qualifies as one of the most endearing neighborhood favorites west of the Ashley. The funky, bohemian vibe of years past may be a bit muted these days, but the space still attracts a wide variety of locals for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, eager to get their hands on the very well-prepared pasta and hearty entrées like grilled lamb chops and seared rib-eye steak that grace the evening menu. —Jeff Allen, Dish (Winter 2012)
